Ian McAdoo is a Law Clerk at The Law Offices of Gilda A. Hernandez. Mr. McAdoo focuses on assisting the team in complex class action employment law and wage and hour disputes, along with other employment law issues.
Mr. McAdoo grew up in Asheville, NC. He graduated cum laude from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Legal Studies. It was during his time at UNC-Charlotte that his interest in pursuing a career as a legal professional began to develop.
Thereafter, Mr. McAdoo attended the University of North Carolina School of Law where he served as a Social Action Chair for the Black Law Student Association, member of the UNC Startup Clinic, and an extern at Labcorp. While the focus of Ian’s experience during law school was in-house business and contract law, employment law provides the unique opportunity to advocate for employees and individuals deserving of remedy and restitution.
In his free time, Ian enjoys watching sports, taking his dog Nola on walks, reading about history, and listening to old R&B/Soul music.
